Types of Cement
From the terminal, Secil offers two types of cement : CEM I 42.5R and CEM I 52.R (nl). The latter was developed specifically to meet the special demands of the market around the terminal. This cement is produced exclusively for the terminal in Terneuzen.
Both cement types are certified by Dutch, Belgian and French accreditation bodies, namely by KOMO, BENOR and AFNOR. They are subject to strict and permanent quality control procedures, all the way from production to their placing on the market.
CEM I 52,5 R (bulk)
Type I cements are high performance cements, with high reactivity and fast mechanical strength development, used in the production of high level structural concrete, pre-stressed prefabrication, or with high mould turnover, as well as other applications.
